Emily Haines, BVM&S

**New York Cat Hospital is pleased to welcome our new associate veterinarian, Dr. Emily Haines, who will start seeing patients in August 2026!**

Originally from the suburbs of Massachusetts, Dr. Haines earned a Master’s degree in Conservation Medicine at Tufts University before completing her veterinary degree at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, Scotland. 

After completing an internship in exotic animal medicine and surgery at the university, she returned to the US in 2024 and has been working in general practice since. 

Dr. Haines is grateful and excited for the chance to shift her focus solely to feline patients. She strives to provide thorough and compassionate care to all her patients and their families. 

Outside of work she enjoys practicing martial arts and pilates, attending concerts, and catering to the whims of her gorgeous calico (Winnie).
